Welcome to the Chamber
The Chamber of Commerce in Culver is a non-profit organization of approximately 100 members dedicated to promoting business and community improvement. We first organized in 1925 as the Culver Chamber of Commerce and incorporated in 2006 as the Chamber of Commerce in Culver. We remain a strong force in the Culver community dedicating 80 percent of our resources to promoting tourism and 20 percent to marketing.
Our activities include support of the Top Ten seniors and their teachers at our annual award banquet partnering with the local Culver Kiwanis, Miller’s Merry Manor and Coca Cola of Plymouth.
We finance and produce a semi-annual “Destination Culver” newsletter featuring local events and businesses, which is mailed to over 2,000 potential Culver visitors. We also sponsor a page in the Marshall County Visitor’s Guide that has a mailing of approximately 80,000 annually.
Additionally, we support, as a sub-committee, Culver’s Second Century Committee, that is a long-range development community development team. Their accomplishments to date, include extensive directional signage, improving and implementing a limestone “Gateway to Culver”, a hospitality pier, and are presently working on a historic lighting program.
Our web site is proving to be a successful venue for members to highlight their business. We are in the process of creating opportunities for individual members to use banner advertising to highlight their products at a minimum cost to the members.
We welcome new members to our organization. Membership entitles you to a free web listing and opportunity to publish in our Destination Culver newsletter. Click here to apply.
Dinner meetings are held once a month on the first Tuesday. Speakers of interest to the business community are featured.
